You have a UMTS flat rate of Klarmobil.de and want them under Balsam Professional einrichen.

Proceedure

Conditions

• a UMTS stick from Klarmobil.de or a computer with UMTS modem, SIMcard from Klarmobil.de
• Balsam Professional

Configuration

Go to the KDE system preferences and select "Netwerkeinstellungen".

Now select the tabs "mobile broadband" and click "Add - GSM connection".

You are now following in the corresponding fields:

Number: *99#
User name:-.
Password:-.
APN: internet.mobilecom
Type: Any
PIN: Your PIN by Klarmobil.de

Confirm your entry with ENTER or click on "Apply".

Now even the name servers must be borne by manually by Klarmobil.de.

To do this, edit the file / etc/resolv.conf. Follow these steps:

Press the key combination:

ALT + F2

Enter now:

kdesu kwrite /etc/resolv.conf

Confirm your entry with ENTER and enter your root password.

Now, delete the line in the Editor:

# Please remove (at least) this line when you modify the file!

Enter the following DNS servers at the end of the file and save the file:

nameserver 195.182.11.132
nameserver 62.134.11.4
